Summertime can be easily lost in disgruntled thoughts of heat and humidity. However, around here, summer is a season we love to welcome with open arms! One of the ways you know summer is upon you, is hearing that sweet sing-song tune of the ice cream truck coming from blocks away. Everyone scrambles to find the nearest dollar and runs to the curb to make sure they are outside in time to pick their favorite frozen treat. No sooner do you unwrap your gumball Tweety Bird ice cream before it starts melting in the waves of heat. The colors melting together, although sticky, create a watercolor effect that most artists strive to create. Growing up in the 80s and 90s, you may be under the impression that pink comes in two shades, Hot Pink and Baby Pink. We certainly were!
